Re-Elect Rob Moore
Rob was first elected to the House of Commons in 2004 and was re-elected in 2006 as the Member of Parliament for the eastern New Brunswick riding of Fundy Royal.
Most recently Rob served as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice. Rob's duties as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice included representing the Minister in Parliament and in the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights. Rob has been steadfast in strengthening Canada's justice system. This includes moving forward essential legislation like Bill C-2, the Tackling Violent Crime Act.
Previously Rob served as the Conservative critic for Agriculture and Agri-Food while also participating on the Justice Committee and the Standing Committee on Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness.
Rob graduated from Kennebecasis High School in Quispamsis. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from University of New Brunswick-Saint John and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of New Brunswick. He was called to the New Brunswick Bar in June, 2000. Rob practiced law in Kings County before becoming the justice policy advisor in the Office of the Leader of the Opposition in Ottawa.
Rob was born in 1974 in Gander, Newfoundland. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing hockey. He and his wife Melinda live in Quispamsis with their daughter Madeline.
