Fundy Royal Conservative Association AGM
May 13th 2006 was the day the Fundy Royal Conservative Association
held its annual General Meeting. It was a beautiful day in Sussex and
a large crowd came early to the Royal Canadian Legion for wonderful
breakfast.
Mike Allen MP for Tobique-Mactaquac was our guest speaker. Rob Moore
MP for Fundy Royal introduced Mr. Allen and both he and his message
were warmly received. In addition to our own Rob Moore MP and Mike
Allen MP speaking we had Mr. Greg Inman, Regional Organizer for the
Conservative Party of Canada give a few remarks.
Mr. Brian Keirsted, President of the Fundy Royal Conservative
Association chaired the meeting and the business meeting followed our
speakers. There was an election of new members to the Board of
Directors. 30 Members were elected and immediately following the
meeting they met to select the executive for the up coming year.
Last but not least our Member of Parliament was celebrating his
birthday the next day so the large crowd sang happy birthday and
presented Rob with a cake. Rob cut the cake and served everyone a
piece of the delicious cake.
